Where Do We Ship?

We ship to most countries. If your country is on the drop-down list on the shopping cart screen, we ship to your country. If your country is not on the drop down list, please contact us to see if we can ship to your country at this time

International Shipping Rates...

All International shipments are sent via US Postal Service. A shipping estimate is provided and funds reserved on your account when you check out.

Shipping will often be quoted higher than actual, and your order total will be adjusted to actual cost and discounts will be applied, when shipment is made.

International shipping cost is based on the weight of your shipment. Orders up to 4 pounds weight (approx 11 yds of fabric,) can normally be shipped via First Class International parcel at significant savings over International Priority Mail. 1st Class parcel takes the same transport as Priority, the only difference is that Priority mail is cleared through customs first. In most countries this is a matter of just a few minutes difference in processing time.

If you are not quoted 1st class parcel rates (this happens often, especially with orders containing lots of small pieces) please check the box (under phone number) on the Billing and Shipping screen, we'll make sure we analyze your order and apply the lowest airmail shipping rate possible! To protect you from large losses in case your package does not arrive, we place shipping insurance on all international orders over 150 usd. We add the cost of this, which is normally about 2% of the estimated value of your total order and postage, to your shipping cost. Example: A 150 usd order with 50 usd shipping cost will incur a 4 usd insurance charge for 200 usd in protection.

International Shipping Discounts

We apply shipping discounts to International orders where product total is over 35 USD. The chart below shows the shipping discounts that will be applied to your order when the order is shipped. No Coupon Needed - Your total will be adjusted when we ship. Please note that this offer cannot be used with any other coupon or discount.

Priority Flat Rate Envelopes...

Because we carefully pack and protect all orders, the most we will ship in priority flat rate envelopes is 6 yards of fabric (7 yds of batik). Normally, 1st Class Parcel is cheaper and just as fast for smaller orders (see above).

Customs Duties and Local Taxes...

We do not collect these taxes and duties, and they are NOT included in our shipping charges. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay these upon receipt. We do not ship orders as "gift" as this is a violation of customs laws.

Shipping Time...

Shipping time from the USA to most countries is 6 to 10 days. Delivery time to your destination after that depends on the speed of your local customs officials and local postal delivery service. Please allow at least 2-3 weeks before inquiring about your shipment.

Lost or Missing International Shipments...

USPS tracking/customs numbers are assigned to all shipments. However, USPS does not track parcels after they leave the USA, as most countries don't report information back to the USPS. If your order is lost in transit, we'll help you in any way we can with the USPS, but we cannot track orders once they leave the USA. QKO is not responsible for lost or stolen orders inside or outside the USA.
